What's with the early daylight savings this year?!?

So, in case you weren't already aware of this, Daylight Savings will be arriving three weeks earlier this year, on March 11th. Of course, if you don't already observe it, don't panic, you still won't. There's some political influence behind this decision, but what are your thoughts on the matter?

I love it, personally! I've heard a few concerns about how it's going to affect Outlook and other calendar softwares. That will be interesting to see. But personally, I'm happy about it! You wouldn't think that a vampire like me would give much of a hoot about daylight but I'm a huge fan of it and the more the better! (especially since my daytime hours are already so limited)
