We snapped this photo in Grand Forks, ND while en route between.... I don't remember.... somewhere between Minneapolis and Rugby. It was very loud and a little freaky.
C135 Hercules I believe. Used as a variety of armament platforms by the armede forces but even more importantly it's the backbone of the "airlift" fleet for ferrying foreign aid.
