Vegas Update (Part 1 of 2)

I had so much planned to blog about, but you're just gonna have to settle for this slideshow for now. Viewer discretion advised.

Houston Update / Vegas Bound

Houston was just as much, and more, than I was expecting and needed!

I was so looking forward to being away for the weekend and being around good friends that love and care about me but don't know what's going on right now. Sometimes, I feel like I can't walk into a pool room in town anymore without everyone looking at me like they feel so sorry for me. Maybe I'm just being crazy.

Anyway, Carter picked me up on Friday afternoon from IAH with the top down. YES! We have matching Miatas except mine is a white '99 with dark interior and his is a special edition maroon '00 with tan interior. Sporty, nonetheless.

We made a couple stops and then headed to, where else, go eat!

I wish I had more time to write more about Houston and about my very fun week and going to see Regina Spektor on Friday night, but unfortunately, I'm a big slacker. My bags are all packed and I was too tired last night to finish this posting so not I have to leave.

I want to write more about my new positive outlook on life (with the help of Carter's inspirational friendship and the introduction to The Secret and the Law of Attraction), the sketchy Passport Inn & Suites we stayed at with the trampoline in the parking lot, clouds painted on the ceiling (hopefully they were clouds and not water stains), the free porn on tv, the one-time use ketchup packet shampoos and conditioners, glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling (our room didn't have the blacklight so we didn't get the full effect), and the gun point burglary, but unfortunately you'll just have to settle for the online photo album.

I'll be back from Vegas in two weeks. I'll see you then. I won't have internet access but you can always text message me. Have a great summer!

So many amazing things to share...

I know it's been over a week, but so many wonderful, amazing things have happened in the past week that I don't even know where to begin.

I'll try to separate the postings.
